3/11/04 March has come in like a lamb. The snow in the boat yard has been melting fast. The spring launch schedules have been mailed out and this nice break in the weather has anxious boaters appearing in the boat yard. The beat goes on at the shop - boats move out and boats move in. More technical training courses have been completed since I last wrote. There are only three more days of tech classes left to take before launch starts. Here's a little picture I took while gazing out my window one snowy morning towards the end of February.
I know - its not a boat or the lake, but I wondered if he was day dreaming of
warmer days just like me.
2/1/04 January has come and gone. With more than three weeks of temperatures below freezing we are all anxious for spring. The guys have all spent a week at the Mercruiser Tech School in New Jersey. Mike has another week of classes in March. I am always amazed at all the tech talk when they come home. Lunch time conversation sounds like a cross between science and math class with those ions and protons and I over R times C. They always pass the certification tests. We have been working steady in the shop. We will have completed some long term projects by spring that will amaze a few of you. Stay tuned.... you never know what they will be.
