Sterndrive Repair
Our service technicians have been certified by Mercruiser, OMC and Volvo Penta. We offer preventive maintenance specials, rebuilding and complete sterndrive replacements. We only use OEM parts. When sterndrive failure or those floating rocks catch your sterndrive, we pride ourselves in getting you up and running in a minimal amount of time. We have an extensive inventory or sterndrive parts in stock.
Mercruiser Specials Available for OMC and Volvo Penta also. We remove the sterndrive from your boat, we check and grease the transom bearing and u-joints, the sterndrive is drained and then pressure and vacuum checked. For our Deluxe Specials we will change the water pump for the sterndrive. The sterndrive will then be filled with the appropriate oil and re-installed on the boat using new gaskets and o-rings.
- Complete Back End Jobs Nothing lasts forever. That is why this job is necessary. We remove the sterndrive, replace the transom bearing, replace the shift cable, shift cable bellows, replace the water hose, replace your u-joint bellows, replace the exhaust bellows and check your engine alignment. Any other work to your sterndrive is performed and the sterndrive is re-installed.
